Leni Rivera joined Newmark in 2024 as Managing Director of Workplace Strategy and Human Experience, a specialty practice within the firm’s Global Corporate Services (GCS) consulting group. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, CA, Rivera is a peer-recognized thought leader, author, and keynote speaker on Workplace Experience.
With an extensive career spanning three continents, and in senior leadership roles in Business Management, Interior Design, Real Estate Development, Global Workplace Services, and Future of Work Hybrid Strategy, Rivera has the unique perspective of understanding the impact of a physical environment on employee behavior, on corporate cultures, and on achieving business success.
Prior to joining Newmark, Rivera spent the last 13 years heading workplace experience operations for companies in the pharmaceuticals, consumer goods, and tech industries. She has substantial expertise in creating human-centered workplace environments that empower people and organizations to thrive, from anywhere.

Rivera holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from New York University, and graduated summa cum laude in Interior Design from the Philippine School of Interior Design. She also holds a Certificate for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace from the University of South Florida, and is currently finishing her Master of Science degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University.
