Tillie Nutter is the marketing manager for Newmark’s Texas region. Based in the firm’s Houston office, Ms. Nutter leverages 20 years of experience in marketing, communications and corporate branding to oversee the development and implementation of the firm’s marketing programs, in support of all service lines as well as the company’s overall planned objectives.
Ms. Nutter’s responsibilities include developing and implementing marketing plans and branding campaigns; providing technical assistance to clients and staff; and assisting in the development and management of the company’s participation within key industry and business associations. She also provides oversight of day-to-day marketing operations for Texas, including graphic design and production of proposals/presentations, advertising programs, custom projects and internal communications. Ms. Nutter acts as a liaison, selecting and working with external resources and vendors and works with senior management on the development and proper execution of budgetary expenses for the region.
Ms. Nutter joined Newmark in 2018, after working for UAS International Trip Support as a regional marketing specialist. In this position, she worked with the corporate marketing team and internal stakeholders to localize deliverables and thus increase effectiveness. Additional experience includes marketing communications specialist and senior proposal specialist at Wood Group Mustang and senior graphic designer at CBRE, Inc., where she produced and developed all print, web and multi-media marketing materials for the Houston office’s retail sales and leasing teams. Ms. Nutter was also the marketing director at Baker Katz, where her role was focused on corporate branding and designing company marketing materials as well as website enhancements.
Ms. Nutter holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business and marketing from the University of Houston-Downtown. She also holds an Associate of Science degree in business with an emphasis on marketing from Houston Community College.
