Howard West joined Newmark in 2018 as a director and works in the Pittsburgh office, where he is responsible for investment sales and brokerage services. Mr. West focuses on executing acquisition and disposition strategies on behalf of clients for all property types.
Since the start of his commercial real estate career, Mr. West has been an advisor for over $1 billion of commercial real estate. His previous experience in commercial real estate brokerage and as an asset manager of approximately 2 million square feet of institutional-grade properties allows him to provide a high level of service to clients.
Prior to Newmark, Mr. West was a vice president at Colliers International, where he focused on investment sales and brokerage services. Additionally, Mr. West was an asset manager at The Wilder Companies, where he was responsible for a retail portfolio consisting of 17 assets with a combined value of more than $650 million. Mr. West also worked as an asset manager at Boston Capital for a portfolio of over 80 multifamily properties.
Education
Mr. West holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Olin School of Babson College. He also attended Clemson University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in real estate.
