Gavin McPhie MAI, joined Newmark Valuation & Advisory in 2017 and currently serves as a Senior Managing Director and Market Leader for the firm’s Southwest region. In this capacity, Gavin is responsible for growing the valuation and advisory businesses of the Phoenix, Las Vegas, Reno and Albuquerque offices through the recruitment and management of best-in-class valuation professionals. He is also responsible for quality control reviews.
Gavin brings to his position 20+ years of valuation and advisory experience. His appraisal experience includes the fee preparation of real estate appraisals, rent analyses and market studies of commercial and multifamily properties. He has completed valuation assignments of several commercial property types, including land, office, office condominiums, retail, industrial, call centers, data centers, private schools, charter schools, restaurants, hotels, resorts and multifamily properties. He has completed assignments in Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico and Utah as well as international assignments in Grenada and Mexico.
Gavin joined Newmark following 12 years with CBRE’s Valuation & Advisory Services Group. Most recently, Gavin was a managing director with Valuation & Advisory Services, responsible for co-managing offices in Phoenix, Tucson, Las Vegas, Reno and Albuquerque. He had advanced to the position of managing director after two years as a vice president with Valuation & Advisory, preceded by three years as a senior appraiser. Gavin began his career as an appraiser in 2001 at PGP Valuation, Inc. (Now Colliers International) in Sacramento, California.
