Emma Sukenik joined Newmark in 2021 and serves as an Associate in the company’s New York City headquarters office. Sukenik services high-profile tenants, including: The Related Companies, Greenberg Traurig, Cleary Gottlieb and Banco Estado de Chile.
Previously, she worked at Empire State Development, New York State’s economic development agency. In their Real Estate Development and Planning Group, Sukenik worked on a number of important real estate development projects, including: World Trade Center Site 5; The Urban League Empowerment Center on 125th Street in Harlem; and the New York Islander’s ice hockey stadium at Belmont Park.

Education
Sukenik graduated from Barnard College, Columbia University, with a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies. At Barnard, she served as Student Government’s Senior Class Vice President and was a recipient of the Student Leadership Award.
