Cindy L. Schoenly joined Newmark Valuation & Advisory in 2017. As a vice president, Cindy has assisted in the valuation of all styles of residential, commercial, industrial, and land development properties at the Philadelphia office, which covers the eastern half of Pennsylvania, Central Pennsylvania, and the southern half of New Jersey.
Cindy specializes in appraisals, portfolio valuations and market feasibility studies. She also provides clients with acquisition/disposition counseling and litigation support in connection with real estate transactions.
Actively engaged in real estate valuation and consulting since 1985, Cindy has prepared valuations and comprehensive market studies on proposed, partially completed, renovated and existing structures. These include multifamily, mixed use buildings, student housing, industrial, and proposed land development projects, in addition to special purpose facilities including private schools, equestrian facilities, institutional campuses, agricultural conservation tracts, exclusive resort vacation homes, and multi-million dollar residential estates.
Cindy’s clients have included life insurance companies and pension fund advisors; banks, mortgage lenders and other financial institutions; real estate developers and investors; law firms; businesses; and government agencies. She has assisted them with valuations for tax appeals, condemnation purposes, financing, equity participation and due diligence support.

Education
Cindy earned an Associate Degree in business administration, from Montgomery County Community College and takes pride in her 30+ years of full-time appraisal experience. Additionally, she has successfully completed numerous real estate and valuation courses and seminars sponsored by the Appraisal Institute, accredited universities and others.
