Carrie C. Lee serves as a Vice President at Newmark Valuation & Advisory based in the New York City office. She prepares narrative appraisal reports and serves in a consultant role on a wide range of real estate and business matters including lending decisions, asset management, dispute resolution, condemnation, financial reporting and estate planning. Her consulting activity includes cash flow projections, market and feasibility analysis, due diligence, lease abstracting, property tax analysis, and data collection and analysis.
Carrie’s previous assignments include office buildings, multi- and single family residential, co-operative shares, condominiums, vacant land and development sites, industrial warehouses and factories, schools and institutional property, mixed use and retail buildings. Her subject assignments have consisted of domestic and international properties in diverse locations and specialized property types such as subterranean easements, casinos, hotels, theaters and waterfront real estate.
She draws upon her early career as a paralegal with a strong background in transactions, civil litigation and corporate real estate to provide clients with the litigation support expertise required to address their valuation and real estate-related needs.
Carrie acquired comprehensive real estate knowledge through work in residential and commercial transactions and commercial mortgage underwriting. She previously managed a banking operations department responsible for collateral release, flood certifications and UCC-filing maintenance for a Boston-area bank. Later, Carrie worked as an independent real estate consultant for lending institutions and real estate developers. She began work in the appraisal arena in 2007 and joined Newmark in 2015 under the Landauer Valuation & Advisory umbrella until the Newmark Valuation & Advisory division was established.

Education
Carrie earned a Master of Science degree in real estate with a focus on investment from New York University. She previously earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a dual major in English and communications from Simmons College (n/k/a Simmons University). Additionally, she completed the post-graduate ABA-approved Legal Assistant Program, receiving its certificate, at Syracuse University.
