Newmark is pleased to announce that it has successfully orchestrated two industrial investment sales totaling approximately 196,000 square feet in DuPage County, Illinois. Together, both sales are valued at more than $11,000,000.
In the first transaction, Senior Managing Directors Elise Couston, SIOR and Adam Marshall, SIOR, CCIM with Managing Director Boris Shraybman of Newmark’s Chicago Capital Markets team arranged the successful sale-leaseback of 1005 N. Commons Drive in Aurora, Illinois, a 140,000-square-foot Class A industrial warehouse. Newmark represented the seller and tenant, Import Logistics, Inc. in the sale-leaseback. The facility sold to a local private investor for an undisclosed amount.
“The sale-leaseback of 1005 N. Commons Drive provided investors with the opportunity to acquire a mission-critical facility that is 100 percent net leased on a long-term basis,” stated Couston. “The asset’s excellent location within the Meridian Business Campus in the I-88 corridor, also made for a very attractive opportunity for buyers, and thus we received several offers.”
Marshall and Shraybman also successfully orchestrated the sale of 466 Vista Avenue in Addison, Illinois, on behalf of a private owner. Venture One Real Estate acquired the 55,750-square-foot facility on 2.19 acres for $2,350,000. The facility was purchased 100 percent leased to E & C Custom Plastic, Inc.
