To further strengthen its Southeast retail capital markets presence, NGKF Capital Markets adds Drew Fleming and Mark Joines as senior managing directors in its Atlanta office. The duo brings nearly 25 years of combined experience in capital markets, investment sales and retail services.
“We are excited to bring two strong retail investment sales brokers with the caliber of Drew and Mark to our team,” said Brett Hunsaker, executive vice president of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank. “Drew and Mark will be instrumental as NGKF Capital Markets continues to expand its platform in the Southeast Region.”
Both Fleming and Joines come to NGKF Capital Markets from Cushman & Wakefield, where they served as senior directors.
“Drew and Mark bring invaluable experience in the retail sector of our capital markets business,” said Geoffrey Millerd, executive managing director with NGKF Capital Markets in the Boston region. “They have both established a long list of pre-existing business and clients throughout the southeast.”
In their roles, Fleming and Joines lead a senior team specializing in retail center sales, particularly grocery-anchored, neighborhood and community shopping center assets as well as big-box, power centers, high-street and multi-tenant properties.
Over their eight-year tenure as partners, Fleming and Joines have closed more than $1 billion in asset sales for institutional and entrepreneurial owners across the Southeast including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, South Carolina and Tennessee. Prior to Cushman & Wakefield, Fleming and Joines were partners at Cassidy Turley and Carter.
