Newmark Grubb Knight Frank (NGKF) today announced that three new tenant representation professionals have joined its Baltimore office. To accommodate the Baltimore office’s rapid growth, which includes this new team as well as seven other recent recruits spanning multiple service lines, NGKF’s office has relocated to One East Pratt Street, a Class A property located in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, effective June 24.
“We are pleased to announce our move to One East Pratt, which aligns with our growth plans including the hiring of this new tenant rep team,” said NGKF’s chairman of assets services for the Washington, DC region, Brendan Owen. “Like many of our clients who are redefining the way they work, in Baltimore we are creating an open and collaborative environment to ensure that our clients receive the benefits of our comprehensive platform.”
NGKF welcomes executive managing director Michael Singer, managing director Clare Berrang and associate director Matt Lunnen. The prestigious trio joins NGKF’s Baltimore team from JLL.
Singer comes to NGKF with over 15 years of experience specializing in all facets of tenant representation. His wide variety of clients spans sectors including professional services firms, financial institutions, technology companies, life-science companies, government entities and government contractors. Singer serves as vice chairman of the board of PACT and is a board member of Business Volunteers Maryland.
Berrang joins NGKF as a tenant advisor. She focuses on developing and implementing real estate strategies for both regional and national office tenants. Her in-depth market knowledge, comprehensive understanding of client objectives and attention to detail are valuable assets to every project. Her clients include Arthur Bell CPAs, The Enoch Pratt Free Library and AFLAC. Berrang earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Delaware.
Lunnen joins to NGKF as an associate director. His expertise includes market intelligence, crafting flexible lease terms and identifying occupancy costs reductions. Lunnen is known for his commitment to exceeding client expectations and ensuring each real estate transaction aligns with his clients’ business objectives. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Rollins College and received the Young Gun of the Year award for the Mid-Atlantic in 2014 and 2015.
