Newmark Frank Knight (Newmark) is pleased to welcome Troy Wooton as senior managing director in its Orange County office. Wooton has 17 years of commercial real estate experience. In 2010, he founded BroadStreet Real Estate Group, a boutique commercial real estate company, and served as managing principal until joining Newmark.
Wooton’s experience encompasses industrial tenant and owner representation, investment sales and market analysis. At Newmark, he will handle sales and leasing for industrial and flex properties within the Airport and South County submarkets.
“We are pleased to have Troy’s experience and professionalism as part of the Newmark Industrial platform,” said Newmark Executive Vice President, Head of Industrial Services Paul Klink.
“Troy is an outstanding addition to the Orange County team as he brings substantial experience as a broker and owner. I’ve been looking forward to having his perspective in our ranks and feel he exemplifies the high caliber and nimble entrepreneurial culture of Newmark,” said Newmark Executive Vice President, West Region Market Leader Greg May.
“Newmark’s national platform provides me with increased exposure to corporate and regional clients and investors. I’ve long admired the firm’s vast broker network and broader infrastructure that is sure to be an asset to my existing clients. Now more than ever, clients are seeking the depth of services and collaborative culture that Newmark provides,” said Wooton.
Prior to forming BroadStreet, Wooton was a partner at Lee & Associates Commercial Real Estate Services. Underscoring Wooton’s expertise, during the market downturn, Wooton consulted with numerous banks and court-appointed receivers to identify and preserve asset value while maximizing recovery opportunities through effective disposition strategies. Wooton has a bachelor’s degree from Pepperdine University.
