Newmark continues to expand its Seattle office, bringing David Marks on board as director. Marks joins Newmark from Broderick Group where he provided landlord and tenant advisory services. As a director with Newmark, Marks will specialize in representing landlords in office leasing.
“Seattle is a dynamic market and it’s important to our firm to build a strong base of real estate experts who can lead our growth here,” said Newmark President, Western Region Chuck Seufferlein.
Marks received his bachelor’s degree from University of Washington. He also played professional baseball for three years with the Boston Red Sox.
“I was inspired to join Newmark because it was an opportunity to position myself in a like-minded, high-energy growing team in Seattle with similar work-ethic and values,” said Marks.
“Seattle has emerged as one of the hottest markets in the country and our growth plans align with both the importance and velocity of the Seattle/Bellevue economy,” added Seufferlein.
