James “Jim” Lynch, MAI serves as a Senior Vice President for Newmark Valuation & Advisory in the company’s Charlotte, North Carolina, office. Lynch entered the real estate business in 2003 as a staff commercial appraiser working with multiple firms. He has appraisal experience with many property types including multifamily, industrial, single, and multi-tenant retail, office (general & medical), hospitality, marinas, automobile dealerships, skilled nursing/assisted living, mixed-use, subdivision development and land. Lynch is qualified as an expert witness in real property valuation before the North Carolina Real Estate Tax Commission, Raleigh, North Carolina. Lynch has spent the last several years specializing in the appraisal of multifamily properties.
Lynch joined Newmark after serving as a Senior Director for Cushman and Wakefield for five years in the Charlotte office, where he was the Multifamily lead for North and South Carolina.
