Newmark is pleased to announce the hiring and promotion of six professionals, joining its Global Corporate Services (GCS) Program & Project Management services. The team supports client projects across sectors, including life sciences, industrial, office and retail.
“We are seeing increasing demand for program and project management services, particularly in fast-evolving sectors like life science and industrial, which are growing exponentially,” said Tom Hundelt, Newmark Executive Managing Director and leader of GCS Program & Project Management. “As our scope grows with every new assignment, it provides the opportunity to invest in our professionals to serve existing clients and pursue new opportunities to bring real estate strategies to life.”
Newmark’s GCS program and project management new hires and promotions include:
Mark Hunter, Senior Managing Director, Business Development and Account Management Leader, GCS Project Management, based in Georgia
Hunter has been promoted to lead business development and account management for GCS project management. With more than 28 years of experience, Hunter has previously led the delivery of a $530 million capital program, including $20 million of infrastructure improvements, a 320,000-square-foot LEED Platinum building and restack of two 30-story towers.
Rob Lawlor, Senior Managing Director, GCS Project Management, based in Massachusetts
Promoted to lead Newmark’s Boston GCS project management team, Lawlor manages projects for financial, technology, life science, corporate and law firm clients. As a professional engineer with over two decades of experience, he has in-depth knowledge of budgeting, scheduling and managing projects including buildouts, data centers, infrastructure upgrades and LEED-certified projects.
Gillian Sutton, Managing Director, Southern California Team Leader, GCS Project Management, based in California
Promoted to lead Newmark’s Southern California GCS project management team, Sutton oversees construction and building improvement projects from the planning phase through final completion and delivery. With a strong construction background, Sutton has experience in schedule development and management, budget development and risk analysis and management.
Mark Wilde, Senior Managing Director, Southeast Region Leader, GCS Project Management, based in Georgia
Wilde was promoted to lead GCS project management in the Southeast Region of the U.S. With more than 27 years of commercial real estate experience, Wilde has executed projects in corporate office, healthcare, assisted living, student housing, hospitality, multifamily, retail and industrial space, including a 300,000-square-foot corporate headquarters in Atlanta.
Additional hires include Brenda Meckenstock hired as Director of Project Management, based in California, and Jessica Rose hired as Senior Project Manager, based in Texas.
GCS Program & Project Management supports Newmark clients to advance business objectives, delivering services from one-off projects to integrated multi-service contracts.
