Edward Ulbricht is a principal and managing director in Newmark’s Dallas office. Mr. Ulbricht is a proven project manager with a track record of successfully managing complex real estate developments. His portfolio of projects includes a wide variety of developments, new construction, renovations and relocations. He also provides project management, executive and operational support on a consulting basis for numerous companies in a variety of fields.
Mr. Ulbricht is skilled in P&L management, strategic planning and business development in diverse environments. He brings a wealth of operational and organizational management experience to the tenant representation team, including expertise in program and operational management, process development and implementation.
Mr. Ulbricht joined Newmark in 2018, upon the firm’s acquisition of acclaimed tenant representation firm Jackson Cooksey. That firm was the parent of Maverick Project Management, where he had been a principal of project management since 2007. Mr. Ulbricht is a resourceful, innovative leader with strong ability to build, mentor and motivate teams to optimal performance while reducing risks.
Previously, Mr. Ulbricht worked for seven years at the Amend Group, where he held several executive level management positions while building a project management organization that achieved extraordinary results. Mr. Ulbricht’s broad experience also includes executive positions as senior vice president of development at CICI Enterprises and director of development at US Physical Therapy as well as serving as professor for the College of Architecture at Texas A&M University.
Education
Mr. Ulbricht is a graduate of Texas A&M University, where he earned a Master of Arts degree in architecture and a Bachelor of Arts degree in environmental design with specializations in technology business, innovation and design.
