Adam Weinblatt joined Newmark in 2014 and is based in the firm’s New York headquarters. He specializes in landlord and tenant representation advising owners, developers, and retailers on complex retail leasing strategies across major U.S. markets. With more than a decade of industry experience, Mr. Weinblatt has completed over 200 transactions totaling in excess of $1.75 billion in aggregate value.
Mr. Weinblatt has represented many of the country’s most prominent property owners and institutions, including Apollo Global Management, Ashkenazy Acquisition, BLDG Management, Brookfield Property Partners, Cohen Brothers Realty Corp., GFP Realty Corp., GID Development, Hilton, Hines, Kimco Realty Corp., Lam Group, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, Ocean West Capital Partners, Perlbinder Realty, Property Markets Group (PMG), RXR, and SL Green Realty Corp. On behalf of these landlords, he has completed transactions with leading global and national retailers such as Anthropologie, Blue Bottle, Bluemercury, Bonhams, Bowlmor Lanes, Brio Italian Grille, Chase Bank, Exhale Spa, Forever 21, H&M, Hermès, HSBC, Oliver Peoples, Paper Source, Regal Cinemas, Sant Ambroeus, Santander Bank, Shake Shack, Suit Supply, Tommy Bahama, UNTUCKit, Urban Outfitters, Vineyard Vines, and Warby Parker.
In addition, Mr. Weinblatt has represented a diverse roster of local, national, and international tenants across food & beverage, fitness, lifestyle, and experiential retail. - Represented Apollo Global Management and JDS Development in Bonhams Auction House’s 43,000 SF global flagship and office lease at 111 West 57th Street along Billionaires’ Row.
- Representing Wren Kitchens, the U.K.’s leading kitchen retailer, in its U.S. expansion, securing 16 showroom locations across the Northeast totaling approximately 300,000 SF, along with its U.S. headquarters in Greenwich, Connecticut.
- Led SL Green Realty Corp.’s retail repositioning at 125 Park Avenue and 420 Lexington Avenue, securing leases with Bluemercury, Webster Bank, Mangia, Los Tacos No. 1, Little Beet, All’Antico Vinaio, Dunkin’, Complete Body Gym, and Santander Bank’s 6,300 SF flagship at the northeast corner of 42nd Street and Park Avenue.
- Represented the Metropolitan Transportation Authority in 29 transactions at Grand Central Terminal, overseeing the leasing of approximately 150,000 SF of retail and restaurant space.
- Represented Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani LLP in its 30,000 SF office lease at One Battery Park Plaza.
- Negotiated flagship leases for Swingers Crazy Golf Club (23,000 SF) and Electric Shuffle (10,500 SF) at the Virgin Hotel NoMad.
- Assisted Juice Press with their New York City roll-out, procuring 10 locations.
- Negotiated New York City locations for Aux Merveilleux de Fred at 1001 Avenue of the Americas and 1291 Lexington Avenue.
- Represented James Beard Award–winning pastry chef Dominique Ansel in his latest concept at 64 University Place.
- Negotiated Shake Shack’s test kitchen and headquarters at 225 Varick Street.
- Completed 325,000 SF of retail and restaurant leasing on behalf of Kimco Realty Corp. for Dania Pointe, a lifestyle center in Broward County, Florida.

Mr. Weinblatt holds a New York real estate salesperson’s license and is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
Education
Mr. Weinblatt attended the University of Maryland, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in Business and Law. He also studied International Business abroad in Barcelona, Spain.
