William is a Partner in Newmark’s Operational Real Estate team based in the UK London head office. He specialises in advising on valuation, estate strategy, development, acquisition, and disposal of educational, charity and other institutional and operational properties.
William regularly advises on universities, FE colleges, student accommodation, schools, care homes, and ecclesiastical property as well as more traditional property assets such as residential and development land owned by institutional clients.
He is the firm’s UK lead on market-facing valuations for Higher and Further Education. His expertise includes valuation for loan security, estate strategy and due diligence for mergers and acquisitions. He provides strategic estates advice including purchase and disposal of surplus assets.
William provides specialist valuation advice to charities and not-for-profit organisations and is a Designated Adviser under The Charities Act.

Letting advice for University of the Creative Arts and formerly retained by Canary Wharf Group to identify HE occupiers for the estate.
William has presented at the BUFDG Annual Conference to finance directors from the Russell Group, University Alliance and Wesley Group on extracting capital and income from property.
