Will is a Partner in Newmark’s UK Capital Markets team, specialising in portfolio investment sales and acquisitions. He is an expert in cashflow modelling and analytical underwriting of real estate portfolio transactions. Will started his career at Deloitte Real Estate in 2011 after graduating from the University of Cambridge and moved to Newmark in 2016.
He has advised a broad range of clients including private equity, institutions, property companies and banks in the UK.
Recent projects
- Lighthouse and Beacon Portfolios – Will advised on the disposal of 32 multi-let industrial estates located throughout the UK and Scotland on behalf of IO Asset Management. The assets were brought to the market by way of two separate portfolios, known as Lighthouse & Beacon and achieved a price of £140m. The deal was shortlisted for ‘Best Investment Transaction’ at the IAS Awards 2019.
- Bluebell Portfolio – Will advised on the sale of 15 industrial assets located across the UK for £39.1m. The portfolio, which comprised 54 units, was let to 42 tenants and attracted significant competitive tension through the sale process.
- Pebble Portfolio – Will advised on the purchase of an industrial portfolio for M&G comprising five assets in Droitwich, Rugby (x2), Warrington and Winsford for £22.06m. This was the first industrial portfolio purchase for the M&G Value Add Fund.
