Tom is a Partner in the Valuation team at Newmark where he is involved in valuations of both residential and commercial property. He leads our North West valuation team, bringing extensive experience in property valuation across the wider regional markets and Greater London.
Tom specialises in the provision of valuation reports for a variety of purposes including loan security, acquisition due diligence, financial reporting, taxation and strategic decision making. He advises a diverse client base including local authorities, institutional investors, pension funds, private clients, developers, debt funds and a range of high street lenders.
Tom currently oversees the annual asset valuations for Lichfield Borough Council, Derbyshire Dales District Council, and Bolton Metropolitan Borough Council, drawing on the collective skills of his colleagues and the wider Newmark team. He specialises in the valuation of complex portfolios and has acted for a number of high-profile clients.

Recent projects
- UK office Portfolio – valued on a quarterly basis for financial reporting purposes with values reported in excess of £30m.
- Industrial Option Agreement – Recently secured a Landlord a premium of £3m in relation to a tenant exercising an Option to Purchase. The premium achieved was over 50% ahead of Book Value.
- Overage Agreement – Currently instructed to negotiate for a major strategic land holder and developer who has secured planning permission for an industrial scheme which has triggered an overage payment.
- Mixed use Portfolio – Valued a substantial portfolio for a leading North West developer and investor in relation to a capital raise.
- Residential Portfolio – Valued a residential portfolio of circa 60 houses and flats across Greater Manchester for secured lending purposes.
