I’m a leader in Newmark UK’s Planning and Development department based in London. I have a thorough understanding of the planning process and of the varying objectives of key decision makers and stakeholders, gained through both public and private sector experience. This enables me to help devise a planning strategy which minimises risk whilst maximising clients’ objectives.
I advise on a range of development types including regeneration schemes and developments for various uses including commercial, hotel, educational and residential proposals involving heritage, land use, design, viability and environmental issues.

Key projects
- Royal Street, Lambeth – I provide planning advice in relation to a major regeneration scheme in Lambeth for an office-led mixed-use scheme including residential and life sciences. Planning permission for around 200,000 sq m of development was secured.
- Garfield House, Westminster – Planning permission was secured for a new mixed-use office and retail building designed to fully activate and enhance the Edgware Road frontage, whilst creating a feature corner and entrance to the upper office floors on George Street, marking the entrance to Marylebone. The entire ground floor frontage to Edgware Road was designed to maximise permeability into ‘The Hub’, a flexible street-level space purpose built to curate an evolving mixture of retail, food and beverage, indoor leisure and community activity.
- Education City, Hammersmith and Fulham - I provided planning advice and obtained planning permission for the regeneration of a school site to deliver an education-led mixed-use scheme, comprising a replacement primary school (including a nursery), replacement nursery, replacement adult education centre, a new youth centre, and 132 residential units (including market and affordable units). These new uses will be located across six blocks that are positioned around a new central pedestrian boulevard through the heart of the site.
