Samantha is a Senior Associate in our Planning and Development department based in the West End of London. Her main areas of expertise are land assembly, valuation and development advice.
Samantha specialises in advising on valuations for various purposes as well as land assembly for regeneration and infrastructure projects, in particular the use of compulsory purchase.
She acts as an adviser to landowners, investors, developers and occupiers across both private and public sectors.
Recent projects
- Compulsory Purchase – acts for claimants on acquisitions such as by High Speed Two (HS2) as well as acquiring authorities who make compulsory purchase orders. Work has included preparing a property cost estimate for residential properties in East London and advising in respect of acquisitions in advance of a compulsory purchase order and on the process of achieving a compulsory purchase order.
- Valuations – involved in valuation of large schemes, including a prime development in Central London. This includes mixed residential schemes, from social rented to high value private units with gross development values for the schemes ranging from £1 million to over £200 million.
- Estate Valuation – valued, including project managing the wider team, a large London estate for financial purposes. Samantha has past experience of social housing portfolios, one of which had aggregate vacant possession values in excess of £2 billion.
