I am a Senior Associate in our Operational Real Estate team, with a principal focus on Purpose Built Student Accommodation (PBSA). I have over 12 years’ experience advising clients on valuation, agency and other property matters in the education and PBSA sectors.
My clients include lenders, developers, investors and owner occupiers such as London School of Economics and Political Science, University of the Arts London, Waypoint, Barclays and National Bank of Kuwait.
Recent Projects
- Valuation of 1,666 operational beds across four student schemes in London for loan security purposes.
- Quarterly valuation advice in relation to a 188 beds scheme in Leeds and 274 bed scheme in Nottingham, both leased to Unipol Student Homes.
- Valuation and soft market testing of a proposed student accommodation development in Greenwich comprising 190 beds, including advice on the implication of putting in place a lease or nominations agreement with a University. We consequently introduced the developer to a University to negotiate the terms of a lease.
- Valuation of a proposed development of 314 student beds with 1,953 sq m of employment space to advise a prestigious London university on a potential acquisition.
- Loan security valuation advice in relation to the University of Gloucestershire and University of Wales Trinity St David campuses.
