Paul is based in our West End office with extensive experience advising charities on all aspects of property transactions. He has particular expertise in advising religious orders, diocese and education charities nationwide.
Paul is a member of the Charities’ Property Association and a Qualified Surveyor for the purposes of The Charities Act 2011.
His in-depth understanding of charities requirements enables him to provide innovative solutions to challenges posed by charities, in order to ensure that your charitable objectives are met.
Paul advises charities on estate strategy, valuation, purchase and disposal advice on a wide range of institutional and ecclesiastical properties, including schools, care homes, convents and church property.
He is an RICS Registered Valuer and provide clients with Designated Adviser’s Reports in respect of disposals of freehold and leasehold interests of charity property for valuation and marketing purposes, in compliance with The Charities Act 2011.
Paul acts on behalf of a large number of charity clients and regularly advise charities on disposals of interests in properties, from entire portfolios to one-off properties and residential premises, supporting you to make sound strategic decisions, whilst ensuring that the best terms possible are achieved.
He has advised numerous charities on re-provision developments of existing properties funded through residential-led development schemes, creating new purpose-built facilities for charities, wholly funded by residential development.
