Neil is a Partner in Newmark’s Planning and Development team in the UK. He provides advice on all matters relating to the development process for a wide range of landowners, developers, and potential occupiers.
He is particularly experienced in matters concerning Central London where his spectrum of work ranges from advising on proposals for major regeneration schemes through to the promotion of applications in some of London’s most historic and sensitive areas.
Neil has also appeared as an expert witness at Public Local Inquiries, Development Plan EiP’s, the High Court, Land Tribunals and Compulsory Purchase Order (CPO) inquiries.
Recent projects
- Central London development – advises clients such as the Cadogan Estate, M&G, City Developments Limited, Stanhope, and the Berkeley Group on all matters concerning Central London issues including application progression, planning strategy, political and community engagement, and policy application.
- Residential development – has substantial experience of advising on all matters concerning residential led schemes for both house builders and developers including application strategy.
- Historic environment – instructed to advise on some of the most prestigious historic buildings and sites in the UK including Kensington Palace, the Science Museum and the Tower of London.
