I am on the Leisure team at Newmark where I work with operators, investors, equity houses, family estates and lenders, providing valuation and consultancy services across the leisure and pub sectors.
I have specialised in these sectors for over 30 years, both in the operational and private practice spheres, working for the best known and highest regarded advisors in the Operational Real Estate space.
I advise across all leisure sectors, including holiday parks, marinas, visitor attractions and arenas, exhibition and conference centres, golf resorts, live music venues, theatres, racetracks, private member clubs and public houses.
My clients have ranged from private individuals through to quoted companies and the leading lenders to the sector, with market leading clients including the likes of Mitchells & Butler Plc and Liberation Pub Company; Center Parcs, Boatfolk and Lloyd Webber Theatres; Alpha, Caledonia, Adnec and the Department of Transport; high street, challenger and debt fund lenders.
I also support the RICS, on working groups advising on the RICS guidelines for both the UK and Global regulations and I am a member of the Entertainment and Leisure Forum.
Recent Projects
I have provided valuations and trading projection advice on a portfolio of holiday parks undergoing a long-term lease regear process, successfully concluded.
Valuations for financial reporting purposes provided of a live music operator’s national portfolio, including leading venues in their sub sector.
Lending valuations of large single assets and large portfolios for new, re-finance and loan monitoring purposes.
Valuations of iconic assets in the past have included the likes of O2 Arena Greenwich, the Excel Exhibition Centre, Cheltenham and Aintree Race Courses, Electric Brixton, The Grouch Club, Brands Hatch in the U.K. as well as European venues such as Quinta Do Lago Golf Resort, Efteling Theme Park and Parques Reunidos.
