Kevin is a Partner in the Planning and Development Team here at Newmark. He has a wealth of experience, predominately within the public sector, advising councillors on policy formation, strategy and decision making in relation to numerous large-scale redevelopment proposals within sensitive central London locations. His previous role as a senior officer gives him a unique insight and understanding into the public sector and political interactions.
Kevin has advised clients on a diverse range of planning and development issues. This includes planning advice for numerous large-scale complex redevelopment and regeneration projects. He has also been involved in policy review and formation, compulsory purchase orders, judicial reviews, public engagement, academic research and have appeared as expert witness at numerous public inquiries.
Kevin is advising leading UK and international investors, developers and occupiers on all aspects of town planning.
Recent projects
- Southwark Portfolio, Landsec – advised Landsec on the redevelopment of 103 Sumner Street and 133 Park Street to provide 204,500 sq.ft of office floor space and new public realm and is currently advising on the redevelopment of 44-46 Park Street.
- British Library, LB Camden – advising Stanhope and Mitsui Fudosan UK on the extension to the British Library and provision of new commercial space in the Knowledge Quarter.
- 20 Ropemaker, LB Islington – advised Old Park Lane Management Company and CORE on the redevelopment of 20 Ropemaker Street to provide 447,000 sq. ft of new office floorspace within a 27 storey structure.
