John is a Partner specialising in the energy and infrastructure sectors, with a particular focus on power and renewables and the role zero carbon energy can play in decarbonising industry and transport. He provided development and investment advice across these sectors as we re-wire and re-plumb the country to reach Net Zero by 2050.
John leads very large scale and complex land and development projects, repurposing brownfield sites for renewable energy generation and storage whilst delivering new communities and workplaces. He is involved in several nationally significant new infrastructure projects spanning large scale power generation, renewables, energy storage, hydrogen, and carbon capture. Increasingly, we are advising clients on how these new technologies can help decarbonise other sectors including logistics parks, ports, airports, gigafactories and data centres.
