James is a Service Charge Consultant in our Corporate Property Management department based in Milton Keynes. He specialises in service charge audits for corporate occupier clients. With a wealth of experience in the area, he currently provides service charge consultancy to a number of well-known retailers.
James was previously a portfolio account manager and produced audited reconciliations for numerous landlords. His experience includes negotiating savings with landlords, interpreting and understanding leases, reviewing clients lease clauses and their impact on a client’s liability, undertaking site surveys and assessing the legitimacy of their service charge.
In his previous role at Profile Consultancy, James was responsible for service charge consultancy for a number of clients including Odeon, House of Fraser and Monsoon.

Recent projects
James undertakes the management of all clients’ service charges. He works to minimise their liability by undertaking a forensic approach to; reviewing leases; identifying all relevant issues to clarify liability, and maximising savings.
