James is an Associate in our Commercial Valuations team at Newmark based in the West End. His principal focus is on core asset classes within London and the South East.
He specialises in preparing valuation advice for secured lending, financial accounting, fund management and tax purposes. James is a RICS Registered Valuer who joined Newmark in Spring 2022 following six years with Central Government where he completed his Apprenticeship degree and APC.
James has advised on a wide range of assets including offices, retail, industrial and residential within London and the South East. He also works with Bridging Finance Lenders, Debt Funds and Local Authorities.
James prides himself in consistently delivering a high standard of service to clients, being able to manage expectations and present findings clearly and confidently.

- James has undertaken development appraisal valuations for several central London office schemes valued over £55 million.
- A client he advises is St Albans City & District Council and he has recently carried out a valuation for them for internal management purposes on their Civic Centre Opportunity Site South (CCOS S), a mixed-use office and residential development with a total value over £45 million.
- A mixed-use portfolio he has valued for fund management purposes had a total reported value of over £285million.
- He has undertaken single asset valuations up to £120 million and portfolio valuations up to £29 million.
