I am part of the Glasgow Business Rates team at Newmark where I specialise in valuation for non-domestic rates. My expertise spans a range of sectors, including but not limited to Retail, Hospitality, Licensed and Leisure.
Prior to joining the Newmark team, I worked at the Assessor for Glasgow and Central Valuation Board where I gained invaluable experience across a range of property types, notably gaining significant understanding of the Glasgow market. I conducted research and negotiations with the Assessors within the Scottish Assessors Association on all the non-domestic rates proposals for the 2023 Revaluation. I also have experience in cost-based valuations which includes both public and private sector properties.
During my time at Newmark, I have achieved rates savings for a range of clients through discussion with various Assessor’s offices in Scotland. I am currently supporting a range of clients on the lead up to the 2026 Revaluation in Scotland.
