I co-head Newmark’s National Leisure team. Throughout my career, I have specialised in providing valuation and development advice across the full spectrum of the leisure industry.
I have particular experience in dealing with large-scale individual businesses within the leisure and sporting sectors and a range of specialisms within the health and fitness, entertainment venues and visitor attractions sectors. I am a member of the RICS Trade Related Property Group, which provides guidance to the wider property profession on leisure and trade related valuation issues and also sit on the RICS panel of independent experts appointed to deal with valuation disputes on leisure property.
My clients are drawn from both operators and investors in leisure and sporting assets, from David Lloyd Leisure and Merlin Entertainments to Soho House and the Goodwood Estate.
Recent Projects
- Project Prime – I provided valuation and operational due diligence advise to UBS to support their investment purchase of a portfolio of five residential conference centres let to Compass.
- The London Eye – I advised Merlin Entertainment of the rent review and regear of part of their occupational interest in the site occupied by this iconic visitor attraction.
- David Lloyd Leisure – I act as adviser to a number of major health club operators, including David Lloyd Leisure on rating matters and provide strategic and valuation advice relating a wide variety of investment and development proposals within this sector.
