Adam is a Partner in Newmark’s Development team in the UK. With extensive RICs-qualified property experience, his key focus is on advising a range of Government bodies, landowners, developers, and investors on complex development issues. His background in working across multiple sectors has given him a wealth of development consultancy, agency, and public procurement experience. Adam is experienced in leading multi-disciplinary teams and has a reputation for offering added value advice to both public sector and private sectors clients on wide-ranging development issues.
Adam has advised client on development opportunities in the transport sector market, including Places for London, HS2, LCR, Network Rail, Dover Harbour Board, and Heathrow Airport. He has also provided delivery strategy advice to Homes England and acted as estate adviser to institutions including Imperial War museum, Gonville & Caius College, University College London, University of the Arts London, NHS Tryst, and Local Authorities.
Recent projects
- Homes England – Adam advised Homes England on brownfield and city centre regeneration opportunities nationally, providing route-to-market strategies, advice on joint ventures, and property market advice.
- Imperial War Museum and Gonville & Caius College – Adam led a public procurement process to appoint a development partner to deliver proposals for a c.45,000 sqm sustainable aviation technology park with airfield access at IWM Duxford, Cambridge.
- High Speed Two (HS2) Ltd – At Old Oak Common, Adam leads a multi-disciplinary team advising HS2 on the preparation of a development options for HS2’s four work sites totalling 18ha, providing property consultancy, viability, and market advice. At Washwood Heath, Birmingham, He leads a project team promoting future proposals for a new industrial & logistics campus on a 21 ha HS2 work site. Previously, he advised HS2, Network Rail, and DfT, on the procurement of Lendlease as development partner for over 6 million sq ft of mixed-use development at the proposed new HS2 and existing station at Euston, London.
- Places for London – Adam provides development consultancy and transaction advice to secure best value outcomes on housing and employment sites adjacent to operational infrastructure across London.
- Airports & Ports – Adam works closely with colleagues in our aviation team providing value, delivery and transaction due diligence advice to airports and investors in the UK and internationally. He recently advised Dover Harbour Board on the land use options and strategy for reclaimed land in the west of the port.
