London, UK (May 27, 2025) — Newmark Hires Sebastian Wallis as a Senior Leader in its Valuation team in the UK. With more than 25 years of experience in the UK property industry, Sebastian brings a focus on high-value residential development and investment assets across prime central London and major regeneration zones.

“Sebastian’s reputation precedes him. He is a recognised authority in London’s residential markets and brings deep technical expertise, a sharp strategic lens and long-standing relationships with some of the industry’s most influential players,” said Jonathan Godfrey, Head of UK Valuation at Newmark. “His addition reinforces our commitment to growing our UK offering with top-tier talent who deliver clarity and confidence to clients navigating complex property decisions.”
Based in London, Sebastian is widely regarded as a trusted adviser to UK and international banks, landowners, developers, housebuilders and family offices. His expertise spans valuations for financial reporting, secured lending, acquisitions and viability assessments. He has worked across the full spectrum of residential product types, including Build-to-Rent (BTR), co-living, super-prime and multi-phase residential and mixed-use developments.
Prior to joining Newmark, Sebastian led CBRE’s London Residential Valuation team, where he oversaw a large team of professionals and was instrumental in expanding the size of the practice. Earlier in his career, he was a Partner at Knight Frank, where he led the firm’s London Residential Development Valuation team for more than a decade. Most recently, Sebastian served as a senior consultant to a family office, where he advised on portfolio refinancing and supported the successful delivery of multiple residential developments across central London.
“Joining Newmark presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing, ambitious platform that values precision, insight and long-term client relationships,” said Sebastian. “I’m looking forward to helping strengthen the firm’s presence in the UK residential market and collaborating with clients on their most high-profile and complex valuation needs.”
