Mitch Heifetz is an associate director in the Newmark’s New York office, where he specializes in both landlord and tenant representation in the New York metro area and nationally.
Mitch represents many retailers in their space needs. He is currently assisting P.F. Chang’s with its expansion of its new “To-Go” concept across the U.S. He has also assisted fast casual food concept CAVA with its expansion throughout New York City and is now working with an international tenant on its U.S. entry and multi-state expansion plan.
Mitch also represents several prominent landlords in New York City, including Alfa Development, Digby Management, Oxford Properties and SL Green. His most notable recent transactions include the leasing of approximately 10,040 square feet at 30 Times Square to COTY for its first U.S. flagship store and the leasing of approximately 21,000 square feet to Ulta Beauty for its Herald Square Flagship. In both transactions, Mitch represented SL Green, which owns both assets.
Mitch joined Newmark in 2019, when parent company Newmark Group, Inc. acquired RKF. He began his real estate career in 2016 as a canvasser with RKF.

Education
Mitch earned a Bachelor of Science degree graduated from Syracuse University’s Whitman School of Management, where he double majored in management and entrepreneurship and emerging enterprises.
