Mitch Heifetz is a Managing Director in Newmark’s Boca Raton office, where he specializes in both landlord and tenant representation in the Boca Raton metro area and nationally.
Heifetz represented many retailers in their space needs. He led the rollout of the fast-casual concept CAVA in New York City, where he completed nine transactions on their behalf. He also represented Club Champion Golf (80+ locations) on their first-ever New York City flagship at 220 East 42nd Street and assisted PF Chang’s with several deals in New York City and nationally. Heifetz represented B&B Italia and completed deals on their behalf in New York City, Boston, and Washington, D.C. He also advised Reiss on their long-term renewal at their SoHo flagship location, 387 West Broadway.
Additionally, Heifetz represented several prominent landlords in New York City, including Alfa Development, BLDG, Digby Management, DivcoWest, Gordon Property Group, Oxford Properties, SL Green, and TF Cornerstone.
His most notable recent transactions include the leasing of approximately 16,000 SF to Capital One and the leasing of approximately 21,000 SF to Ulta Beauty at 2 Herald Square. In both transactions, Heifetz represented SL Green, which owns the asset. Also, on behalf of SL Green, Heifetz leased 2,895 SF at One Vanderbilt to Watches of Switzerland and leased the retail at SL Green’s newest development, 185 Broadway, to Wells Fargo and T- Mobile (approximately 5,156 SF combined). At 2220 Broadway on the Upper West Side, Heifetz successfully represented ownership in a 30,000-SF lease to P.C. Richard & Sons. In SoHo, Heifetz represented Paceline Equities at 106 Spring Street where he leased 5,936 SF to Vuori for their first ever New York City store.
Heifetz joined Newmark in 2019, when parent company Newmark Group, Inc. acquired RKF. He began his real estate career in 2016 as a Canvasser with RKF.
