Mitch Heifetz is a Director in the Newmark’s New York office, where he specializes in both landlord and tenant representation in the New York metro area and nationally.
Heifetz represents many retailers in their space needs. He is currently assisting P.F. Chang’s with its expansion of its new “To-Go” concept across the U.S. He has completed 7 deals in New York and 15 in total across the U.S. He also recently represented the group on their first ever New York City Flagship at 113 University Place. He is also assisting fast casual food concept CAVA with its expansion throughout New York City. He has lead their roll out in New York City completing 9 transactions on their behalf. Heifetz also recently represented Club Champion Golf (80+ locations) on their first ever New York City flagship at 220 East 42nd
Street.
Heifetz also represents several prominent landlords in New York City, including Alfa Development, Digby Management, DivcoWest, Oxford Properties and SL Green. He is currently representing SL Green on One Vanderbilt, 2 Herald Square, & 185 Broadway. His most notable recent transactions include the leasing of approximately 10,040 square feet at 30 Times Square to COTY for its first U.S. flagship store and the leasing of approximately 21,000 square feet to Ulta Beauty for its Herald Square Flagship. In both transactions, Heifetz represented SL Green, which owns both assets. Most recently, Heifetz represented Paceline Equities at 106 Spring Street where he leased 5,936 SF to Vuori for their first ever New York City Store.
Heifetz joined Newmark in 2019, when parent company Newmark Group, Inc. acquired RKF. He began his real estate career in 2016 as a Canvasser with RKF.
