Joshua Cohen joined Newmark in 2023 and currently serves as a Managing Director in the company’s Long Island office. Cohen has extensive experience in Capital Market investment sales, industrial sales and leasing.
He has represented both institutional investment firms and fortune 500 companies. Cohen is a member of a top producing team that has transacted on 3 million square feet over the past three years. During that same time period, his team has facilitated over $450 million in deal consideration.
Cohen came to Newmark after serving as a Director for seven years at Cushman & Wakefield where he was responsible for client relationship management, valuations and business development. Cohen holds an MBA in finance and has a certification from Altus Group for Argus Enterprise.

Cohen received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a concentration in Finance from Hofstra University. He graduated with distinction, an honor conferred upon students who attained and maintained a minimum grade point average of 3.75. Cohen earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the State University of New York, College at Geneseo.
