Alex Okulski is an Executive Managing Director of Newmark. Okulski maintains an office in Raleigh-Durham where he focuses on investment sales and capital markets transactions in rapidly growing coastal markets such as Charleston, SC, and Wilmington, NC, while bolstering service throughout all Carolinas markets. With more than 12 years of experience and over $5.2 billion in multihousing transactions closed, Okulski will leverage extensive relationships and investment sales/capital markets experience across North Carolina, South Carolina and Coastal Georgia.
Prior to joining Newmark, Okulski worked for Walker & Dunlop Investment Sales where he opened the firm’s Carolinas office in 2013. Previously, he was part of the loan origination team for Prudential Mortgage Capital Company’s Mid-Atlantic region, working with General Account, CMBS, and Agency capital sources. Before that, Okulski served as an Asset Manager for Greystar in Charleston where he oversaw a portfolio of multihousing communities across the Carolinas.
Education
Okulski is a graduate of Davidson College, where he was a four-year starter and team captain for the varsity tennis team. He also attended the University of North Carolina’s Kenan Flagler Business School where he graduated with a concentration in real estate.
