Newmark announces that the company has arranged a 7,150-square-foot office lease at 29 West 38th Street in Midtown Manhattan. The transaction marks the relocation of the New York-based luxury swimwear company, Onia BD, LLC (“Onia”), which leased the entire second floor of the building. Newmark Directors Cooper Weisman and Dylan Weisman represented the tenant in lease negotiations.
The award-winning lifestyle brand is relocating from 666 Broadway in the NoHo neighborhood of Lower Manhattan, to consolidate the company’s offices onto one floorplate.
29 West 38th Street is a 92,700-square-foot boutique office and retail property owned by ABS Real Estate Partners. The building is centrally located and within walking distance of Bryant Park, Herald Square, Madison Square Park and Madison Square Garden and surrounding retail, dining, entertainment and hospitality offerings. Additionally, the building’s strategic location grants convenient access to major transportation hubs including Grand Central Station and New York Penn Station, which house almost all MTA subway transit lines.
ABS Real Estate Partners was represented in-house by Ben Waller on the lease transaction.
