David is a Partner in Newmark UK’s Commercial Valuation team. He has a wealth of valuation-specific experience across the commercial sector – specialising in loan security valuations – including recent instructions working on portfolios valued at up to £750 million.
David specialises in the provision of valuation reports for commercial and residential properties throughout the UK and across sectors. He undertakes valuations for various purposes including loan security, tax, stock market listings, acquisition due diligence and fund performance measurement.

Recent projects:
- Valued a portfolio of four industrial investments situated throughout the UK for secured lending purposes. The portfolio extended in total to 790,645 sq ft and had a total value of circa £83m.
- Valued a mixed-use portfolio of 61 assets in London with a combined value of £450m for CGT purposes. The portfolio comprises a combination of residential, office, retail and development assets. Value on a quarterly basis a long income fund with a value of in excess of £200m for fund performance measurement purposes.
- Valued a mixed-use portfolio comprising two supermarkets, an industrial unit and three retail warehouses for secured lending purposes with an aggregate value of more than £90m.
- Valued a supermarket anchored shopping centre for acquisition due diligence purposes with the asset being acquired for in excess of £30m.
