I am an Associate working within Newmark’s Glasgow office. I am a member of the Business Rates team, carrying out inspection, analysis and valuation on an extensive range of property types across Scotland.
My core experience extends to advising a wide range of clients regarding all aspects of business rates in Scotland, including appeal and proposals, valuations, negotiations and disposals, and Local Authority finance matters. My particular focus sits within the hospitality, leisure and licensed sectors, representing our clients and their portfolios across Scotland. For the 2023 Revaluation, I was heavily involved in the analysis, valuation and creating as well as issuing proposals on behalf of our clients across the country. I successfully advised, applied for and negotiated various non-domestic reliefs and grants available to our clients over the 2017 and 2023 Revaluations and continue to provide best in class advice ahead of the 2026 Revaluation.
