I am a leader in our Capital Markets team where I co-lead the Residential Investment team. I focus on the Build to Rent (BTR) sector, working across both Single Family and Multi-Family, I have a wealth of experience in this sector having started my career in the commercial real estate market. I work with developers and investors, undertaking transactional and advisory work across the UK. This includes land with planning consent, stabilised assets and forward purchase and sale of both appartements and housing.
Having been responsible for acquiring, leasing, and operating large BTR schemes totaling 1,000 units, in a previous Fund Manager role, I have hands-on experience in the institutional sector.
My core expertise includes advising developers on institutional investor BTR requirements to make sure proposed schemes can secure funding on the best terms and working with investors to secure the schemes that fulfil their return requirements.
I also advise on the underwriting of acquisitions around rents, operational costs, lease-up periods, and target demographics.
I have worked with a range of clients including developers, pension funds, private equity, international capital and local authorities on their residential development and investment.
Overall, I pride myself on working with developers and investors to create high quality homes that are not only great places to live but also provide investors and developers with the best returns. I was voted by The Estates Gazette Magazine in the Top 50 Most Influential Individuals in the UK BTR market.
