Alex is a Partner in the Planning and Development team at Newmark, specialising in development consultancy. He has extensive experience in delivering viable solutions for complex development and regeneration projects, supporting major development opportunities through the planning process both in London and across the UK.
Alex is a qualified Chartered Surveyor (MRICS), RICS Registered Valuer and Chartered Town Planner (MRTPI), with a wealth of experience. He has previously worked as both a planning consultant and a commercial property valuation surveyor.
Alex’s work focuses on development viability and valuation, including advice on scheme feasibility studies and financial viability assessments (FVAs) in connection with planning applications.
A core area of his expertise is advising on strategic brownfield regeneration sites and developments. His experience spans a wide range of development uses, including residential and commercial property. He also leads on the alternative residential financial viability workstreams within the Development team at Newmark, specialising in Purpose Built Student Accommodation (PBSA), Build to Rent (BTR), Co-Living and the Later Living sectors.
