William Grover joined Newmark in 2018 and currently serves as a Director at the firm’s NYC headquarters under the leadership of Vice Chairman, Neal Golden, and Executive Managing Director, Ross Perlman.
Having experience in representing multi-national companies across industries in their real estate initiatives, Grover is often tapped to advise on cost saving solutions for both leased and owned assets, portfolio optimization, strategic restructures, and the latest in workplace and corporate culture trends. Utilizing a highly process-oriented approach, he is often cited for his success in achieving favorable financial and operational outcomes for his clients in leveraged negotiations and in creating consensus among organizations.
Employing Newmark’s national platform, Grover and his team consult across nearly all asset classes, including office, retail, industrial, and mixed-use properties. His work spans leasing advisory services, acquisition and disposition assessments, global portfolio analysis, cost-savings implementation, all while taking into account the broader impact of real estate decisions on business valuation, mergers, and consolidations. On the landlord side, Grover is often sought out for his insight into creative positioning, rebranding, and marketing strategies designed to enhance asset performance and ultimately drive a successful lease-up.
Having been recognized with several CRE industry awards, Grover was included on the Commercial Observer’s ‘30 under 30’ list in 2021 and has been consistently included on Newmark’s list of ‘Rising Stars’ for several consecutive years. Prior to Newmark, he was also identified by Marcus & Millichap as a ‘Pace Setter’ within the firm.
