Stephanie Joyce serves as Vice President of Regulatory Compliance at Newmark, where she leads legal compliance, corporate governance, and regulatory strategy for all Newmark legal entities in the US and Canada. With more than 30 years of experience in the legal and corporate compliance field, she is a trusted subject matter expert in navigating complex, multi-jurisdictional regulatory environments.
Reporting to Joshua Davis, Newmark General Counsel, Ms. Joyce collaborates with the Newmark and Cantor legal teams and plays a critical role in supporting Newmark’s strategic objectives by partnering across departments, including operations, marketing, revenue, communications, tax, finance, and human resources. She works closely with brokers, market leaders, and local office business teams to resolve complex compliance challenges, including out-of-state licensing issues and real estate commission audits. She has developed innovative compliance tracking systems to manage Newmark’s complex real estate licensing needs, enabling effective management of regulatory risk in a challenging multi-jurisdictional environment.
Ms. Joyce joined the firm in 2004 through Triple Net Properties, LLC. Triple Net Properties subsequently merged with Grubb & Ellis, whose assets were later acquired by Newmark. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Joyce spent over a decade as a senior paralegal with local law firms, including Rutan & Tucker, specializing in corporate, tax, estate planning, and nonprofit structuring. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and an ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate.
