Samuel Rector joined Newmark in 2017 and currently serves as a Managing Director in the company’s Sacramento, California, office. A 10-year commercial real estate veteran, Rector has substantial expertise in Debt and Equity Placement in the Manufactured Housing, Apartment and Hotel asset classes. Samuel has participated in debt origination, equity placement and sales transactions totaling more than $2.0 billion. He has transacted on properties for both individual private clients and large institutions throughout the Western United States.
Rector came to Newmark after serving as an Investment Analyst for at Schnitzer West, where he was responsible for underwriting Office Acquisition and Development opportunities. Prior to his time at Schnitzer, Rector was a Rotational Analyst at Key Bank Real Estate Capital. Additionally, Rector has held various roles at HFF, CBRE and Voit.
