Richard Peet serves as a Senior Property Manager in Newmark’s Cincinnati office. He is responsible for overseeing the delivery of client services to more than 1 million square feet of commercial real estate including Class A office, industrial, and retail assets throughout Southwestern Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. Richard is focused on implementing best practices, policies and procedures, and operational excellence that will maximize the value of his clients’ real estate assets. He has extensive knowledge of overall property operations, including expense reduction; strategic and forward-thinking solutions for property operations; talent growth and management; and the development of strategic, sustainable plans. Richard is also responsible for business development to maximize growth and profitability for the region.
Prior to joining Newmark, Richard honed his prowess in property management and corporate real estate services by serving in a number of leadership roles at Jones Lang LaSalle. As an executive vice president and regional director, he was responsible for ensuring best-in-class service delivery to institutional, private equity investors, and corporate owner occupier clients while maintaining corporate profitability objectives. During this time he had oversight of over 80 corporate accounts, 100 million square feet, and an organization of over 500 professionals. Over the course of his career, he has acquired invaluable experience in international consulting; multi-market management; strategic outsourcing; account leadership of owner-occupier and institutional asset ownership assignments; brokerage, project management, lease administration, energy & sustainability services, and occupancy planning. Richard utilizes his breadth of experience across investor and occupier portfolios, the real estate life cycle, and understanding of leadership, operational strategy and finance to consistently exceed client expectations and expand existing relations.

Education
Richard earned his Bachelor of Science in Architecture at The Ohio State University. He is currently completing his MBA at the University of Cincinnati.
