Nina Russo serves as a Managing Director with Newmark’s Debt & Structured Finance Group and is based between the firm’s Atlanta office and New York headquarters. In her role, Russo is responsible for originating and structuring debt and equity opportunities across all asset types across the country, leveraging Newmark’s extensive capital relationships and institutional execution capabilities.
Reporting directly to Co-Heads of Global Debt & Structured Finance Jordan Roeschlaub and Jonathan Firestone, Russo plays a key role in driving the expansion of Newmark’s capital markets footprint in the Southeast region, as well as supports the team’s broader national platform.
Prior to joining Newmark, Russo served as a Vice President, Debt & Equity Capital Markets at Meridian Capital Group, structuring complex debt and equity transactions for construction, acquisition, permanent financing and portfolio recapitalizations across the country. During her tenure, she executed more than $2 billion of capital markets transactions across all asset types. Russo began her career at KeyBank, holding various roles responsible for driving the financial performance of Key Real Estate Capital Group and KeyBank Capital Markets.
