Nick Laessig joined Newmark in 2020 and currently serves as an Account Specialist on the Retail Occupier Services Group (ROS), a specialty group within Newmark’s Global Corporate Services. Nick supports a multitude of retail clients with the necessary tasks related to new store developments and lease transactions. His clients include: Conns HomePlus, BJ’s Wholesale Club, Bojangles, Saje Natural Wellness, Aspen Dental, and For Eyes Optical. With in-depth knowledge of corporate services and tenant representation, Nick also handles lease renewal negotiations for For Eyes Optical.
Prior to joining Newmark, Nick was an Associate on the Healthcare Advisory Team at Colliers International. He worked closely with the team’s corporate client, United Surgical Partners, where he assisted in managing a portfolio totaling 5,500,000 square feet across 27 states. As an Associate/Analyst, he supported the national account manager with lease renewals, relocations, and expansions of the company’s 270 ambulatory surgery and imaging centers. In addition to corporate services, Nick participated in transactions of ophthalmology centers, skilled nursing facilities and ENT practices.
