Nick Laessig joined Newmark in 2020 and currently serves as an Account Specialist for Retail Occupier Services (ROS), a specialty practice group within Newmark. Laessig’s expertise in strategy, site selection and asset management helps ROS retail clients not only reach their store opening goals, but simultaneously saving them millions of dollars renewing and extending leases. He has worked with many notable brands, including BJ’s Wholesale Club, Bojangles, Aspen Dental, Rent-A-Center, Conn’s HomePlus, and Boardroom Salon.
Prior to joining Newmark, Laessig was an Associate on the Healthcare Advisory Team at Colliers International. He worked closely with the team’s corporate client, United Surgical Partners, where he assisted in managing a portfolio totaling 5,500,000 square feet across 27 states. He worked alongside the national account manager handling lease renewals, relocations, and expansions of the company’s 270 ambulatory surgery and imaging centers. In addition to corporate services, Laessig participated in tenant rep transactions of ophthalmology centers, skilled nursing facilities and ENT practices.
