Nick DiChiara joined Newmark in the fall of 2019 as an associate director at the company’s McLean, Virginia, office. Mr. DiChiara brings to his position four years of experience representing both landlords and tenants in leasing and strategic planning and advisory services. He specializes in advisory services for corporate tenants, technology companies, associations, asset managers, and ownership and investment groups. His primary market of focus is the Washington, DC, metropolitan area. Nick is licensed in Virginia, the District of Columbia, and Maryland.
Prior to joining Newmark, Mr. DiChiara worked at the Washington DC and Tysons Corner, Virginia, offices of Colliers International, as a brokerage associate. Nick was selected from a highly competitive application process to participate in the Accelerate Program, where he assisted the tenant rep, capital markets, and corporate solutions groups while completing a rigorous training curriculum. Since graduating this program, Nick has been involved in over 300,000 SF of tenant advisory transactions. In 2020 Nick was selected as a Rising Star by Newmark.
Prior to joining Colliers, Nick had internships with companies specializing in real estate acquisitions, property management and brokerage while completing his undergraduate studies. While at Cushman & Wakefield in Boston, Nick worked with a top tenant and landlord advisory team in New England. Nick was exposed to many pharmaceutical and technology tenants in Cambridge, MA and did research, market overviews, financial analysis, and due diligence for these clients.

Professional and Personal Affiliations
Nick is one of three board members of the DC Colgate Real Estate Council and is also an active member of the Colgate Alumni Council, the Colgate Football Alumni Council, and the Buckingham Browne & Nichols School alumni council. Nick also serves as an official “Maroon Mentor” to a freshman on the Colgate Football Team.
Nick graduated from Colgate University in May of 2016. While at Colgate, Nick majored in economics with a minor in Political Science. At Colgate Nick balanced both a rigorous academic and Division 1 football commitment. On the football field Nick helped the Raiders win two patriot league titles and made an appearance in the NCAA Division 1 FCS Elite Eight.
