Myuren Chanthirakumar serves as a Valuation Associate for Newmark Valuation & Advisory. Myuren supports the national practice through leading on the collection and analysis of data to formulate an opinion of the market value of real estate for the purposes of mortgage underwriting, acquisition/disposition, dispute resolution, portfolio analysis and estate purposes.
Myuren’s exposure and network in various Ontario’s real estate groups has allowed him to provide his valuation expertise and consultation to small, medium and institutional investors specializing in the Multifamily asset class. Myuren supports the business development and client relations and has led the preparation and delivery of competitive proposals. In addition to specializing in multifamily, he has assisted the valuation and due diligence assignments on various asset classes including Land, Office, Retail, Mixed Use, Industrial and Hospitality in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Quebec and New Brunswick.
Prior to joining Newmark Myuren began his career in the commercial real estate industry at Cushman & Wakefield, where he served on the portfolio administration team within Global Occupier Services. He was responsible for providing accurate data and timely insight into the client’s real estate holdings and leases, which allowed management to confidently build strategy and make informed decisions.Professional Affiliations

Education
Myuren earned his Bachelor of Commerce degree in economics and management science from the Ted Rogers School of Management at Ryerson University.
