Michael Bennett serves as Vice Chairman in Newmark’s Atlanta office, where he advises industrial occupiers and institutional owners across the Southeast. His practice spans owner-occupied acquisitions and dispositions, lease transactions, build-to-suit developments, sale-leasebacks, portfolio consolidations and the leasing of industrial assets for institutional owners, providing end-to-end strategic real estate advisory services.
By leveraging advanced analytics and data related to labor availability, transportation networks, customer demographics and economic incentives, Bennett enhances strategic decision-making and delivers data-driven real estate solutions aligned with his clients’ operational and business objectives.
Prior to joining Newmark, Bennett was a Managing Principal in Cresa’s Atlanta office, representing industrial tenants nationwide and earning recognition as a top-25 producer company-wide. Earlier in his career, he competed at the highest level of professional athletics, playing two seasons in the NFL with the Cincinnati Bengals after a standout collegiate career as a four-year starter at the University of Georgia.
